[squid-users] Problem using Squid and local dns cache.

I'm using Squid 2.4Stable4 on linux slackware running 2.4.18 SMP kernel on a IBM @series x340
For Fast DNS service I've installed on that machine a dnschace (I've tried with bind9 and djbdns).

The problem is that if I put in resolv.conf only 127.0.0.1 squid says me that NO dns avaiable are found.
But the local cache works correctly.

After that I've tried to put in my squid.conf the line:

dns_nameservers 127.0.0.1

This time squid starts and after few second dies...

If I disable DNS test squid starts and dies in few seconds...

Any suggestion?
