Ok, so Squid receives the request and forwards it to your parent but
something screws up somewhere..
Maybe something in the request is confusing your parent.
What kind of proxy is your parent proxy?
What kind of browser client is being used?
How is the cache_peer line configured?
What version of Squid are you using?
