Okay, I'm a bit stumped. This isn't a Squid problem per-se - but it is
happening on my squid box so I figured I'd throw it out there.
My squid machine can't talk to mail.yahoo.com - hence any user going
through the cache can't. I have another machine on the same subnet that
can reach mail.yahoo.com fine. Both machines have the same routing
table.
The squid box is running 2.4.17 with ECN disabled. The box that's
working fine is running 2.4.2. A reboot doesn't seem to make a
difference.
Any connection attempts to mail.yahoo.com (port 80 or 443 for example)
just time out. The DNS for mail.yahoo.com is a little convoluted, but it
is legal.
Has anyone seen anything like this? Is it possible that it's some weird
Akamai problem? I may try doing a kernel upgrade tonight...
