[squid-users] Accelerator and HTTPS

I have an application that I need to run an accelerator for security reasons and
I also need to run HTTPS. I have found an SSL proxy and it is working. What I
need to know is if squid can do something like this:

########### ######## ######## ##########
#backend # HTTPS #Squid # HTTP # SSL # HTTPS # Client #
#webserver#-----------#Server#------# Proxy#------------# #
########### ######## ######## ##########

I guess the basic question is can squid do HTTP-->HTTPS accelerating. I am not
worried about caching any content.
