Re: [squid-users] How to log user access info in access.log

If you configure Squid to require the user to authenticate then Squid
will log the username.

To Squid there is no such thing as "the using username". What there is
to Squid is
  a) The HTTP proxy authentication user name

  b) The username as reported by ident
