Re: [squid-users] No data from URL

I see the same thing in my log. Funny thing, when I telnet to that port on
that site, and type "GET /" I get nothing but a hung up connection.. If I
add an "Accept: */*" I get some stuff back from the server. Is there a way
to make Squid send a more complete http get request?

In my /var/log/squid/access.log I see
 
1003930506.991 12497 192.68.68.114 TCP_MISS/200 131 GET http://199.53.215.50:2080/ administrator DIRECT/199.53.215.50 text/html
 
As far as I know that looks normal. Maybe check your
/var/log/squid/access.log to see if you get an error?

Very odd .. I am no expert on Squid I wish I could help more.
  
I will look through my logs and see if I can find something. If I do I
will post it to the sqiud list so an expert can hopefully help.

Hi Matt, actually it's not my server - I'm trying to get my squid to
connect to it as well :( Unfortunately bypassing the proxy isn't an
option for us :(

I can't get to your IIS server on port 2080 through my squid ... i can
get to it only if I bypass squid.
