my guess is, that you could set

refresh_pattern <min-time-in-minutes> <pct> <max-time-in-minutes>
and perhaps an override-expire at the end will be needed?

I'm new at squid, so there's probably a better way.. i'll let the other
squid-users comment.. :-)

Hello,

I have, again, big trouble with Squid 2.4-STABLE2 @ Linux 2.4.10

If set reference_age 30 minutes in squid.conf, but objects keep saved
more than these 30 minutes.

Is there any way to set an absolute maxium for the caching time??

Thanks in advance,
Florian
