When I'm running squid with debug turned on, as in:
/usr/local/squid/bin/squid -NCd4
I occassionally see complaints on stdout (ie, in the window
where I started squid from) like this:
2001/10/11 12:37:25| TCP connection to 10.10.10.71/8080 failed
2001/10/11 13:40:46| TCP connection to 10.10.10.71/8080 failed
(IP addr has been changed to protect the innocent.)
My configuration is Squid 2.4S2 -> VirusWall -> Internet, where
10.115.250.71 is the VirusWall. The connection does succeed, but
perhaps on first try it is failing, thus the complaint?
Any ideas on what this means? I'm assuming that since it's in
debug, I'm seeing messages I may not see in normal mode, but I
want to be sure that there isn't something I need tend to.
Also, I had this complaint that I have never seen before:
2001/10/11 09:19:34| clientReadRequest: FD 15 Invalid Request
Clues are welcome...
TIA,
deb
