RE: [squid-users] Even though nslookup can resolve host name ; sq uid returns the following message

The last entry in my resolv.conf is pointing to the DNS server that goes via
the WAN.
So, I removed that entry from my resolv.conf to see the result.
How can I check to see which DNS server was in used when it fails.
Thanks,
Nooshin

Henrik,

I just tested all three name servers. and I got good response time.
No, I do not have any other servers in squid.conf; it just points to
/etc/resolv.conf file.
Is any parameter that I Can play with it to debug it?

Thanks,
Nooshin

Looks good.

Next question: Does all three of your configured nameservers work and
answer queries in a timely manner?

dig @134.134.248.3 xxxx.intel.com
dig @134.134.248.4 xxxx.intel.com
dig @132.233.247.11 xxxx.intel.com

Last question: Do you have any other nameservers specified in
squid.conf?

Regards
Henrik
