[squid-users] Blocking extension downloads!

Hi there

just looking for some advice on how to block downloads of certain file
extensions, I have the types stored in file
"/etc/squid/access/extension.dat"

one of these is .exe

how do i get the server to deny the downloading of them, but if i go to a
site with .exe in it, for example http://www.exeter.net/ or say a web
site that uses .exe instead of .html or .asp, it will still allow it?

Hope this is possible???
