[squid-users] cpu takes much time

hello,
hopping everything running smoothly to you.

i have squid version 2.3stable4. i have about 100 users. i have intel original 900mz cpu. with 512mb of ram. i have also higher lancard of 3com.i run "top" command and continus monitor it. when i run my squid server everything running fine for 5 to 6 hours but then my cpu status show me about 98% of use. and only 0.6% idle.
