[squid-users] squid time out on webmail servers

I use squid2.4 stable2 on freebsd4.0 and VPN users are also use this as
proxy. They can't use web mails. the error is

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://login.yahoo.com/config/login?

The following error was encountered:

     Connection Failed

The system returned:

    (60) Operation timed out

The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.

Is this regarding  these two options. enabling these two options they
can't do search on web.

hierarchy_stoplist cgi-bin ?

acl QUERY urlpath_regex cgi-bin \?
no_cache deny QUERY

And I have another with BSDi working fine with same configuration.

Any quick help please.
