[squid-users] Median Service Times

Hi !

I am puzzled over some result I get from my cachemgr

I have several squid2.4.ST1 + patches running on AIX 4.3.x or Linux2.4.x
each taking about 25 req / sec
and when I seem to get some "magic" numbers out of the stats :

0.94847 and 1.91442 seem to be hardcoded ;-)

I have been getting those very same values for the last 3 days !!
( before that I don't know ... i didn't look)
strange hum ??? anybody knows why ???
I cannot believe that this number I get this all the time is real ...

I found this very same value reported by someone else a long time ago ;-)

and even the 2.02066 from my General Runtime Info was found here :

VERY VERY strange !!!
is there a problem in collecting the stats ( histograms ?) or in
processing the means ?
( float/double/int casting problems ?)
I am using the enable_time_hack option ... could this be the cause of my
problems?

talking about histogram: I cannot understand the syntax:

(of and by the way: does NearHits means Hit through sibblings ?)
