Description of the problem below.
We found problems with the parent proxy. Using an alternate parent proxy
fixed the problem.

"unable to forward this request at this time"
Stil we obtain problems connecting to websites (peak times?).
Message of explorer:
Unable to forward this request at this time.
This request could not be forwarded to the origin server or to any
parent caches. The most likely cause for this error is that:
The cache administrator does not allow this cache to make direct
connections to origin servers, and
All configured parent caches are currently unreachable.
There are following entries cache.log:
2001/05/15 15:12:24| Failed to select source for 'http:...'
2001/05/15 15:12:24| always_direct = -1
2001/05/15 15:12:24| never_direct = 1
2001/05/15 15:12:24| timedout = 0
Environment: SQUID 2.3 Stable 4
Compq ALPHA Tru64 4.0E
What I did:
1. Changed the value of "peer_connect_timeout" to 60 seconds in
squid.conf
---> no effect
2. Additional DNS server in squid.conf
---> no effect
What can we dow now?
