[squid-users] Authentication Problems

I have configured authentication modules on squid 2.4-STABLE1 which is
installed on a server
running Red Hat 6.2. The
authentication is made to a Microsoft Active Directory Server.
Configuration seems to be ok, but I have to give username and password
several times in the
navigator before the user gets authenticated the first time. If I give a
wrong username or password
once, I need to restart the squid because I never get
authenticated (even giving correct username and password). It seems like
the squid saves wrong
username and password in cache and I have to restart it again to get
authenticate.
If I execute the authentication module from command line (with username
and password) it works ,
so it seems that the problem is
not here but in the squid.
I have tried the same configuration with an OpenLDAP server and I get
the same results.

This is the authentication configuration I have in the squid
(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx in place of the real ip
address of the authentication server):

authenticate_program /usr/local/bin/squid_ldap_auth xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
authenticate_children 25
authenticate_ip_ttl 2 seconds
authenticate_ip_ttl_is_strict off
acl ldap proxy_auth REQUIRED

Thanks
