Any ports you would open to be able to run a web browser on the machine
where Squid is. Squid is a web client.
If you are not using a parent proxy then this is all ports required for
retreiving information using
HTTP
FTP
gopher
In reality this boils down to having to allow outgoing access to almost
any port, block incoming TCP sessions, and block UDP data except as
needed for DNS and possibly ICP as well if used.
If you are using a parent, then opening access to the port where the
parent accepts queries (HTTP and possibly ICP as well) should be
sufficient.
