For a start, I'd setup a server with an RH 6.1 O.S. Server with these partitions:
Note: I have two 9 GBs and i have partition it with these
/dev/sda11 512Mb for the root /
/dev/sda1 15 Mb for /boot
/dev/sdb1 8.7Gb grow to fill disk for the /cache (is this advisable?)
/dev/sda9 256 Mb for /chroot ( must i have this partition?)
/dev/sda5 2 Gb for /home
/dev/sda10 256 Mb for /tmp
/dev/sda6 4 Gb for /usr ( what's this compared to /home?)
/dev/sda7 512 Mb for /var
Questions:
a.) For a proxy server, would this partitions and their sizes be enough?
any suggestions?
