Anyone know what application does this?

We have a transparent proxy server which intercepts port 80 to it.
Last night for a while I was getting this error messages in cache.log (lots of them)

2000/06/06 22:45:55| parseHttpRequest: Unsupported method 'STP/1.0'
2000/06/06 22:45:55| clientReadRequest: FD 162 Invalid Request

Does anyone know what program/application is trying to do this?
