transparent 2.4 trouble !

        I just installed squid 2.4 devel 2 ... and it works fine on port
8000 ... but ... when i try to make it transparent (both by putting it
on port 80 or redirecting port 80 to 8000) i get an error ... like the
squid did't receive the address ... but only the path on address !
        Example:

        The request is: http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v2/2.4/
        And i receive:

While trying to retrieve the URL: /Versions/v2/2.4/

The following error was encountered:

Invalid URL
Some aspect of the requested URL is incorrect. Possible problems:

Missing or incorrect access protocol (should be `http://'' or similar)
Missing hostname
Illegal double-escape in the URL-Path
Illegal character in hostname; underscores are not allowed

        And once again ... if i instruct brownser to "Use a proxy
server" and set the proxy address and port, it works very well.

                Can someone help me ... PLZ !
