dns problem

hello,

has anyone an idea how to fix this problem:

squid is asked for a web page but the dialup line is down.
squid gehts therefore a dns error since the line doesn´t come up so
fast.
all subsequent request to this page produce an error since squid
remembers the negative dns result.

i changed the negative dns ttl parameter to 5 seconds with no success.

does someone know how to get squid to not remember negative dns reguests
for a longer time ?
