pam_auth-1.1.c should work fine on Solaris 7.

pam_auth-1.3 should work fine on Solaris 2.6 as well.

Using Solaris 2.5.1 or earlier is probably not an option unless you are
willing to adjust the code for the "different" PAM implementation used
there.

pam_auth-1.3 is the version available in the Squid-2.3.STABLE1
distribution, or downloadable separately from my Squid page
