I had configured squid.novm (Version 1.1.22) on my Linux 5.2 server.
Everything WAS working fine... On Dec 15 squid quit working??? After much
investigation I have found the following:
DNS server queries work. (i.e. nslookup works fine)
dnsserver queries work (i.e. echo oceana.nlanr.net | /usr/bin/dnsserver
yields correct results)

Now I've tried everything I know. However, something is strange to me in
that I cannot ping my localhost ,eth0, or eth1 ip addresses??? I can ping
everyone else in the world including my router!
The ping on localhost just sits there (forever).
The ping on eth0 and eth1 keep telling me "Network is unreachable"
I must have altered a setting that didn't expose itself until a system
reboot.
Can anyone give me some leads on where to go from here? Like I said, it was
working???
Thanks in advance.
