Dear all,

        Thanks to all who sent me advice. It is working perfectly now. It
turned out to be a typo of the port No. on the client side. I feel real
stupid, but hey it happens to us all. Is it possible to turn off ICP
altogether. We are behind a firewall and I do not wish to connect to
NANLARS cache hierarchy.
