The default is fine if your cache is in the range 1-6GB. For smaller
caches it might be a useful to use a smaller L1 value to save valuable
inodes (and to some extent disk space). For larger caches you should
tune L2 to fit your OS and L1 to at least allow your cache to fit. If
you do not have the time or knowledge to tune L2 prior to deploying the
cache then leave it at the default setting of 256. Note that L1 and L2
cannot be changed once you have stored objects in the cache (with
possible exception of enlarging L1 if you enlarge the cache partition
and L1 satisfied the equation shown before).
