squid 2.2 stable 4 / cannot run auth process

hi,

if i start squid during the boot process (SuSE 6.x) my
authentification processes can't be started correctly.
if i start squid after the complete boot process all
is working fine.
on error the following is in the logfile:

any ideas?? bug or feature? btw. unix_auth i my own programm which
is very simular to "getpwnam_auth".

also an update to 2.2-stable-4 didn't help..
