Re: Increasing file descriptors with Linux (again :-()

    for redhat 6 and kernel 2.2.12, before compiling your kernel, edit these
files:

    1. /usr/src/linux/include/linux/posix_types.h ---> #define
__FD_SETSIZE xxx
    2. /usr/src/linux/include/linux/fs.h ---> #define INR_OPEN xxxx
(optional #define NR_FILE xxx)
    3. /usr/src/linux/include/limits.h ---> #define NR_OPEN xxx

    and before compiling your squid edit this file:

    1. /usr/include/bits/types.h ---> #define __FD_SETSIZE xxx

    happy increasing!
