Hi,
the amount of ads that slow-down our Companie's IN-Access annoys me, so
I'd like to use the Internet Junkbuster to reduce that traffic a bit!
Well, I read the JB FAQ and found a hint that it might be used together
with Squid -- however, I'd like to know how to best install it...
... currently we use two Squid-2.2STABLE4 Proxies: One on the Firewall
that almost only Proxies, another one that uses the first proxy as
Parent and that also caches (plus, the first proxy uses the two UU-Net
Proxies as Siblings)
Now, where would be the best Place to install the Junkbuster?
On the "Proxy #1" that sits on the Firewall or on Proxy #2 that's
installed in our internal Network??
I didn't find any hint re. this in the Junkbuster FAQ :-(
(I think installing it "in front" of Squid #2 has the adventage that our
users can decide by themselfes wether they use the Junkbuter - Squid -
Squid Combination or access the Squid - Squid directly (... some might
like the ads).
MTIA for any hints!
