Purging objects from Squid

Hi,

How can I purge objects from Squid's cache? The FAQ talks about this
feature only being "added to Squid-1.1.6. It only allowed you to purge HTTP
objects until Squid-1.1.11."

Does any sort of similar facility exist in 2.2?
