At the moment, I'm using Squid 1.1.22. Berkeley Software Design included
this in their BSD/OS distribution. There are three log files created:
access.log, store.log, and cache.log. The first two logs tag all actions
with the number of milliseconds since the start of the Unix millenium.
This log format presents some mental challenges when comparing activity in
the Squid logs with activity in a firewall log or NIDS log. What are the
advantages of Squid's native logging format over specifying an HTTP format?
