Hi !
I got a very strange problem with squid versions of 2.2 ...
If i define dns_nameservers to some server, i thought that squid doesn't
use the /etc/resolv.conf. For every http request the domain name is
qualified with all entries in the /etc/resolv.conf search entry before
it is checking for the domain name itself...
For example:
GET http://www.testdomain.net/ (with search = dom1.net dom2.net) it checks:
www.testdomain.net.dom1.net
www.testdomain.net.dom2.net
www.testdomain.net
It seems that the only way to disable this, is to set the search entry
in /etc/resolv.conf to a single point...
What am i missing ? Or is there no config option in squid to disable
that behaviour without modifying the resolv.conf ?
If not, will it be implemented sometimes ?
Regards
