From a performance point of view if really does not matter much if you
select raid 0 or separate cache directories.
From a recovery point of view separate cache directories on each drive
is to prefer.
Linear (disk concatenation) is a bad choice. It most likely will give a
skewed I/O distribution to one of the disks at a time.
