squid or squid-novm

I am upgrading to a scsi 4 gig drive and have 80 megs of ram.
rh 5.2. i have novm running now on the older squid box. i saw during
install i had a choice of squid or squid-novm . we ve got 120 kids
thumping all day.. any ideas...
