I cannot seem to get one small cgi-javascript based url on Cisco.com.'s
website to run correctly through squid 2.1.
I have tried:
persistent_client_posts off
at Henrik's suggestion, but this did not help. I have also applied the
patch:
squid-2.1.PATCH1.large_non-persistent_posts.patch
but again, no joy. What does seem to work is running a second v1.21 squid
(my old config) side by side on the same box, on port 8081, and letting
the clients that need access to this resource take this path.
My question is, can I run this second proxy in "proxy-only" mode, so that
no cache is used, and all requests are forwarded to the main squid
process. I don't want to have 2 caches, and 2 heaps of memory used up.
Thanks !
