Problem with FTP in 2.1P1

All,

UnixWare 7.0.1, Squid 2.1 Patch 1, configured with:
--enable-carp --enable-icmp --enable-snmp

Using Netscape Communicator 4.07, I tried to access a local machine using
ftp. When using Squid, the directories show up empty. Disabling proxy in
Netscape and hitting refresh shows all the files correctly. Re-enable squid
and hit refresh, again no files. Here's an example:

Interesting thing is ... *SOMETIMES* after re-enabling the proxy and hitting
reload it will show the files, but hitting a second reload makes them all
