Hi out there,
sorry for my silly question:
I am setting up a squid for a customer. Befor delivering it
I want to try it in our own network. We have a squid 1.1.22,
it listens on port 8080.
The customer squid is a version 2.0Patch2. I can not
gat a connection to our own squid. I am useing the
following settings:
cache_peer 123.123.123.123 parent 8080 7 default
(123.123.123.123 is the ip-address of our proxy of course)
As we do have an internal DNS which only resolves our
internal addresses I use the switch:
dns_nameservers none
I think the 1.1.22 proxy (which is connected to our firewallsystem
and does have an real-world-dns of course)
should look up the names...
What am I missing?
Greetings
Florian
