autoload squid on suse 5.2

Is there any possibility to start squid 2.patch 1 on a SuSE 5.2 (2.0.35) linux-box at
boottime without stopping the whole system ? Now I always have to login at another
console in order to start squid with "squid start" and can't work on at this console because
