Re: Squid 2 - so what? ;-)

It is my understanding that HTTP proxying is not supported under
HTTP/0.9 but only under 1.0 and later. I also believe that 1.x _proxies_
do not necessarily have to hold to the same 0.9 support as _servers_.

Besides, there are plenty of servers out there that don't support 0.9
properly, or even some of the more common bits of 1.0 (like HEAD
requests)
