Compilation warnings

Just to let the squid developers know, when I compile squid version 1.1.22
on Digital Unix 4.0D I get quite a few of these warnings:

warning: subscript has type `char'

I get this in a number of ".c" files, here is an example:

http.c:344: warning: subscript has type `char'
http.c:348: warning: subscript has type `char'
http.c:352: warning: subscript has type `char'
url.c:237: warning: subscript has type `char'
