1.2b23p3: icons broken in FTP listing?

Small problem w/ icons for FTP service... got this trying to access
prep.ai.mit.edu.
Squid 1.2b23 w/ all patches + ext_proxy_auth patch...

HREF="archive/">archive</A>. .

Lots of broken icons for everything except text file... I swapped in the default
mime.conf file and restarted, cleared the browser cache, but still get the
"(null)"s for icons.

How does this get configured?
