Hmmm...I just built 1.2.beta23 and images on FTP lists are all "(null)":

    <IMG BORDER=0 SRC="(null)" ALT="[DIRUP]">
    
This results in entries like the following in access.log:

    TCP_MISS/500 1347 GET ftp://squid.nlanr.net/(null)

Setting icon_directory doesn't help.
