If you have compiled Squid earlier in the same directory then you have
to run "make clean" before compiling. This is needed after most changes
to the build configuration variables, or after applying patches. Also
remember that rerunning configure erases your changes to src/Makefile.

1. Run configure
2. Edit src/Makefile to include the options you want
3. make clean
4. make ; make install
