Yes.. At SURFnet (the Dutch academic network organisation) we have Squid
v1.1.22 running on a R50 with AIX 4.2.1 without big problems... However
once in a while I also suffer from xmalloc errors (FATAL: xmalloc: Unable
to allocate 4096 bytes!) which I have to solve (when I have some spare
time.......)
We have compiled it with gcc version 2.7.2.3
