Actallly not ;-).
Requirements (in 1.1.X): You need a HTTP server to host the PAC file.
Any server will do (including the shell script posted by Dancer).
Configure your Squid as a accelerator, and use a redirector to rewrite
the accelerated request to the real location of the PAC script.
Or if all your users use the PAC script then move Squid to 3128, and put
a plain HTTP server on 8080 that only returns the PAC script which
directs the browsers to :3128.
