Transparent proxy on DEC

Hi all,
        I am currently running a proxy on a DEC alpha and am wanting to look into
transparent proxying. I am wondering if there is any equivalent IP Filter
program that I can run on a DEC system or am I going to have a put a linux
of FreeBSD box between my router and the DEC box???

Any information much appreciated.
