Re: CONNECT_FAIL problem

Hmm, my squid.conf file had http_anonymizer off commented out,
regardless, I turned it off and still the same thing. One thing I have
noticed is that I also cannot reach one of my local servers.

The configuration of that server is Apache 1.2.5 on FreeBSD also. Is
there any known incompatibilities with this version of Apache?

My squid access.log shows no sign of me attempting to connect to the hosts
in question, it only shows me the ERR_CONNECT_FAIL message. My local host
access.log also reports no attempt at connection from my proxy.

How effective is the "client -m PURGE http://blahblahblah/" command? That
doesnt seem to have any effect either.

Ben

The box said "Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0, or better".
              So I installed FreeBSD.
