This is slightly off topic so I'll make it brief ..
NetApp http://www.netapp.com/ has a NetCache product available which runs on
NT. The problem is it cost $$$ .I have never tried it on the NT but I have the
Solaris version running on one of our servers . Mainly as a backup for my
primary squid server when either it goes down (Very Rarely) or if I decide to
do some thing like Kernel Compiling and I need to reboot the machine.
I have never really tried it under a lot of load but it works well with a nice
menu interface . But I find Squid handles FTP Auth better or correctly than
NetCache .
