From the release notes:
#                    use 'weight=n' to specify a weighted parent.
#                    The weight must be an integer.  The default weight
#                    is 1, larger weights are favored more.
Therefore wieght only comes into play for parent_misses, when you have 
more than two parents defined.
How hard would it be to make squid read weight for all proxies, ie have a 
weighted proxy hierachy, ignoring whether they are sibling or parent?
