Hi,
Has anyone else had the effect that 0x0d (^M) are replaced with 0x0a (\n) in ftp
transfers? I transferred the same text file once with command line ftp and again
with a browser (using ftp) . The file I got with the browser was 2 bytes bigger than the "ftp"
version. On examing the 2 with od(1) I saw that the browser version had 2 extra newlines
at the start and all (^M)s had been replaced with newlines (0x0a).
TIA
Basil
