Remote Authentication

Yet another question!

Some of you out there might be familiar with my line of questions. They
are mostly in the authentication area. Well, here is another one.

Will squid support remote authentication systems, or do I have to program
it in some where??

If I need to program it in, can someone point me to where squid does it's
authentication routine in the source code?

Is there anyone out there working on implementing remote authentication?
Using kerberos or something similar??
