FATAL: ipcache_init: DNS name lookup tests failed

     I tried to run squid 1.1.8 for the first time and I got the error
message I wrote on this email's subject.

     What name is squid looking for ? And what dns server is it using ?

     I'm running squid on Linux 2.0.0 and I'm using the "named" dns name
server and apache 1.2b7 web server all in one PC.

     Attached is my "squid.conf" file ( if anybody will care to look at it
).

     My host ( Linux box ) 's name is caleb. My domain name is
uplink.com.ph ( unregistered yet since I'm not yet connected on the
internet ). The IP address I use is 172.31.1.2.

     Can anybody out there help me ?
